Roland TD-1KPX｜Foldable Electronic Drum

TD-1KPX is a new member of the portable V-Drums series. With its compact size and light weight, the TD-1KPX is equipped with a sturdy and durable drum stand. The snare and tom are made of Roland’s famous mesh drumhead V-Pad percussion pad, which brings natural rebound, touch and play.

The innovative folding design allows the drum stand to be easily folded, and it is easy to carry and store without removing the pads or cymbals.

Simple erection and fast folding

The innovative folding drum stand of TD-1KPX is durable, sturdy, and super easy to set up. You only need an exclusive drum key to quickly set up an immediate performance. Spreading out all the paddles, adjusting the position of the drum stand and paddle board, installing the traditional bass drum pedal (not included), and you will be ready to rock right away. When you practice or the training group is over, the tripod can be quickly folded into an ultra-small size, allowing you to carry or store it in the corner, under the table or in the cabinet at home. The folded drum kit can be put into a variety of spaces, so that the TD-1KPX drum kit can follow you everywhere to play.

Snare drum and middle drum use meshed drum surface V-Pad

The 8-inch PDX-8 and 6.5-inch PDX-6 mesh drumhead V-Pad own Roland's amazing dual pickup technology, which can produce accurate and even sensing on the drumhead and rim. The PDX-8 snare pad has a rim that extends to 10 inches, making the rim-shot more comfortable and quiet. Cymbals and hi-hats use CY-5 cymbal pads, providing a 10-inch playing area and natural shaking movements and allowing drummers to experience a more accurate pickup and an excellent playing feel. The cymbal pad also has an independent cymbal surface and cymbal edge pickup, providing more realistic performance, while the hi-hat opening and closing can show smooth tone changes.

The built-in exercise function makes learning and exercise more fun

The TD-1KPX sound generator has built-in multiple functions to motivate your learning, whether you are learning drumming by yourself, learning with a teacher, or just want to exercise your skills for maintaining your strength. You can use this set of drums as your drum teacher and personal accompaniment orchestra. It is equipped with auxiliary learning functions to exercise your drum skills, enhance your learning motivation, and let you enjoy a good time of practice. Drumming with the built-in metronome can cultivate your accurate sense of beat, and use the Coach mode to train your speed,  endurance and accuracy stably. Playing drums along with the built-in music of the drum sound source can warm up for your performance or rehearsal, or you can connect with a smartphone or music player to the Mix In jack to play drum with your favorite songs. With the built-in recording function, you can review your progress in real time.

Use a standard USB cable to record on your computer

TD-1KPX is not only a fun set of drum kits, it is also a great instrument for making computer music. The built-in USB-MIDI interface allows it to easily connect to music software through a USB cable, without the need to purchase other hardware interfaces. * Maybe you can send your performance to a recording software to create the atmosphere of live drumming in your latest creation.
