• Introduction to Piano Structure and Posture
• Training in left and right hand coordination, finger dexterity, and endurance.
• Fingering knowledge, scale training, and practice with different accompaniment styles
• Various fingering techniques, chord theory, and key points for playing chords.
• Practice with phrases or songs by several piano masters.
• Learn about and study the performance techniques of world-renowned pianists
• Study classical music (including: Baroque period, Classical period, Romantic period, and works from the 19th century).
• Application of Arpeggios training, speed solo, scales/modes.
• How to express more emotion in a solo performance
• Music theory knowledge and music reading training
• Analysis and deconstruction of how classic hit songs are composed
• How to use piano composition and arrangement
• Multiple rhythm training
• Understanding various complex rhythms
• Improvisation training
• Singing and ear training
• This section discusses the characteristics of different brands of pianos.
• Piano maintenance knowledge
• Teach correct, effective, and time-saving practice methods.

Exam, certificate, competition and performance opportunities

• Training performance and test-taking skills
• Arrange to attend the Royal Academy of Music (ABRSM)
• Arrange Trinity College of Music Trinity exams
• Arrange to participate in various types of open competitions
• After completing 8 sessions, and with the instructor's approval, you may participate in the Parkland student show (normally about once per season).
• After completing 8 sessions, students can apply for a Parkland certificate of study orCertificate

Should I choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes?

- 30-minute lessons: Suitable for children under 5 years old with shorter attention spans. Other students are advised to choose 45-minute or 60-minute lessons for faster and more effective learning.

- 45-minute lesson: Approximately 15 minutes for reviewing a previous lesson and teacher feedback.25 minutesLearn techniques through songs (songs can be chosen by the student), and answer students' questions in 5 minutes.
