Course Content

• Introduction to violin structure and posture
• How to choose the right violin
• Left-hand coordination, finger flexibility and endurance training
• Learn full, middle and upper half bow techniques
• Tone and pitch training
• Fingering/bow holding, scale training, and practice with different accompaniment styles
• Various fingerings, chord theory, and chord tips
• Practice with sentences or songs by many violin masters
• Get to know and learn the playing techniques of world-renowned violinists
• Study classical music (including: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 19th century works)
• Arpeggios, speed solo, and scales training
• How to be more emotional when performing solo
• Music theory knowledge and music reading training
• Analyze and deconstruct the composition of classic hits
• How to compose and arrange music using the violin
• Various rhythm training
• Recognizing various complex beats
• Improvisation training
• Singing and ear training
• Talking about the characteristics of different brands of violins

Should I choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes?

- 30-minute lessons: Suitable for children under 5 years old with shorter attention spans. We recommend that other students choose 45-minute or 60-minute lessons for faster and more effective learning.
