The MX49BK series boasts over 1,000 sounds from Yamaha's renowned MOTIF XS series. From realistic pianos, electric pianos, strings, and traditional drums to complex 8-element synthesizer sounds, the MX49BK offers your favorite MOTIF sounds. The MX49BK features a smooth user interface that allows you to instantly select these amazing sounds. The new catalog selection design makes it even easier to find the sounds you need. You can also edit and save personal sounds instantly.
Separate key/overlapping note playing mode
Similar to the MOTIF series, it features a Performance Mode. You can use the [Split] function to automatically separate keys, the [Layer] function to layer sounds, automatically play pipa notes, and select specific parts to edit drum sounds, much like a one-man orchestra setup. All 128 user-defined performance groups are editable.
16 voice parts and 128 vocal counts
Each performance group can be equipped with up to 16 voices, and any voice can be switched at will without stopping the notes. 128 voices can be played on DAW software, making the MX49BK series the best tone generator for live performance and playback through DAW MIDI tracks.
The USB interface can function as both an audio/MIDI interface.
The MX49BK not only controls DAW software and VST plugins but also provides an audio interface. With just a USB cable connected to a computer, you can monitor the MX49BK's sound or the sound from your DAW software via headphone output (using a PA device or external monitoring). Due to the MX49BK's professional music applications, the sound quality is superior when audio is converted to sound output on the MX49BK. The MX49BK's dual-interface feature allows you to directly record the MX's built-in sound into your computer without analog conversion, still achieving high-quality sound.
Various VST plugins and DAW software can be operated manually.
The MX49BK features robust knobs and durable buttons for controlling DAW parameters and VST plugins. A remote template editor allows you to control your computer's DAW software and VST plugins using its panel controller. Numerous integrated templates are available for use with DAW software; when using Cubase, the AI knob function provides faster control of Cubase parameters, enhancing remote control capabilities when connected to Cubase.
Includes CUBASE AI software
The MX49BK is the only affordable synthesizer that comes bundled with music production software. The Steinberg Cubase AI software boasts 48 audio tracks, 64 MIDI tracks, notation functionality, and built-in VST plugin effects; with just the MX and AI software, you have a complete music production system. Furthermore, it integrates the Steinberg Prologue synthesizer and the Yamaha YC-3B organ emulator software synthesizer. The remote template editor allows direct control of VST plugins, making it extremely convenient.
Cubasis LE
In addition to Cubase AI, the MX49BK also offers the iPad music production app "Cubasis LE". Connecting the MX49BK to your iPad unlocks all the features of Cubasis LE. The dual-interface USB plug-and-play functionality for audio/midi enhances the MX49BK's music production capabilities within Cubasis LE.
Both digital and analog music formats can be applied.
In addition to the USB Audio/MIDI jack, it also provides a [USB TO Device] jack for direct connection to an external USB flash drive to store or play files. The [AUX IN] jack can also be used to connect MP3 playback devices.
