Gopherwood J-Classic IX｜Advanced Bass Electric Guitar

The J-Classic IX is an advanced Jazz Bass electric guitar from Gopherwood.
It uses a TESLA Model 70J pickup assembly manufactured in South Korea.

Features

headstock:
The tuning pegs are made of chrome-plated material, whose durability and high heat resistance increase the stability of the strings under tension.
forStablizeThe timbre played a significant role;
The 21:1 retro-style open-type tuning pegs ensure stable pitch.
The precise gear ratio makes its pitch more stable and less prone to going out of tune.

piano body:
The use of alder wood for the body gives the J-Classic IX a solid, bright, and full-bodied sound.
It also features a full midrange and excellent bass, with a slight spiciness that is not harsh, and provides appropriate sustain.
This tonal characteristic allows it to be used with ease in various playing styles.

Neck:
The neck is made of medium-charred maple, which is very sturdy.
Baking the maple wood neck in an oxygen-free environment using radiant heat results in an extremely hard, sturdy, and durable product.
The heat-treated neck reduces unnecessary noise and makes the tone fuller and cleaner.

fingerboard:
Twenty medium to large nickel silver wires are inlaid on the 9.5-inch (241mm) curvature maple/purpleheart wood.
The white J-Classic IX features a maple fingerboard with high hardness, allowing it to deliver more prominent high frequencies; 
The red model features a rosewood fingerboard, which makes the midrange of the guitar more dense and full.

Qinqiao:
The J-Classic IX features a 4-point vintage-style bridge primarily designed for Jazz Bass.
The winding mechanism uses a through-type winding method that passes through the back of the body.
This makes the string tension more stable and the instrument body resonate more fully.
A hex wrench can also be used to adjust the string spacing, allowing the player to easily adjust it according to their own preferences.

Connection treatment:
The neck joint uses four high-strength screws.Combined with the one-piece stamped iron cover on the back,
Ensure strong support for the instrument body and neck;
The back of the instrument body has been reinforced with a base material, which improves the stability of the neck joint.
It also enhances the mid-to-low frequency timbre.
The joints of the instrument body also feature a semi-circular bevel design, making it easier and more comfortable for users to play in higher positions.

Circuit System:

It employs a retro-style, manually unevenly wound coil technique.
Compared to the uniform winding process of machines, it has a more distinctive tonal expression.
The single-coil pickups on the neck and bridge give the player a deep, warm tone with a unique vintage feel;
Also, because of the opposite design of the two coils, its noise can be reduced to some extent.
The American-made pure copper coil, paired with the Alnico 5 high-magnetic-force magnet, gives the pickup a more textured tone.
After the coil is manufactured, a wax impregnation process is used to make the coil more secure.

tone control:
It features a three-position pickup switch and two knobs for master volume and two for tone control.
Intuitive operating logic allows you to operate freely during performance.
