Equipped with 50 watts of stereo output power, two 8-inch woofers, and two tweeters, the compact CUBE Street EX effortlessly delivers a pure, dynamic sound for your music. Thanks to Roland's new and unique power circuitry, you can enjoy a clean, high-quality sound unmatched by any other battery-powered speaker. Three adjustable output power levels—Max (50 W), Normal (25 W), and Eco (10 W)—allow you to conserve battery power in situations where maximum power isn't required. In Eco mode, eight AA NiMH batteries can power your speakers for up to 20 hours! The CUBE Street EX can also be powered by the included AC adapter in locations with available power.

Multiple input terminals provide for various performance setup needs.

The CUBE Street EX features a built-in mixer with four independent channels, catering to the connectivity needs of various performers. The Mic/Instrument and Mic/Guitar channels have XLR/TRS combo jacks for connecting microphones or devices with 1/4-inch output terminals. Each channel includes a three-band EQ and a reverb effect for sound adjustment. The mono/stereo Line In channel has a 1/4-inch jack, while the Audio In channel offers a stereo 1/8-inch mini jack and also supports i-CUBE LINK connectivity. If all channels are full, you can connect another mono device using the rear panel Aux In jack.

The versatile CUBE Street EX is suitable for a variety of music performance needs. Examples of its applications include:

For guitarists, simply plug in your guitar, and the CUBE Street EX instantly produces a professional sound. The COSM amp module provides lead, crunch, and clean tones for electric guitars, and with the Acoustic Simulator, you can achieve a variety of sounds with just one guitar. The AC Preamp is optimized for both acoustic and electric guitars and features a convenient built-in tuner. Chorus/delay and reverb effects pedals are also included, which can be controlled during performances via optional foot pedals.

Use i-CUBE LINK and CUBE JAM for improvisational ensembles and recording.

Roland's innovative i-CUBE LINK interface allows your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to use the CUBE Street EX with your performance. Connect the i-CUBE LINK to your mobile device's audio jack using the included cable for bidirectional transmission with your favorite music apps. Roland's free CUBE JAM app is your perfect companion, allowing you to play along with music from your iTunes library and record the CUBE Street EX output to the app. CUBE JAM also offers a variety of useful features for practice, ensemble playing, and performances, such as independent pitch/tempo adjustment and a Center Cancel function for instrumental accompaniment or karaoke applications.

Can be mounted on a tripod for sound amplification

When the CUBE Street EX' is placed on the ground, its angled design provides optimal monitoring for street or stage performances. For even wider sound coverage, the speakers can be mounted on the optional ST-A95 speaker bracket. The convenient Stereo Link feature allows you to cascade two CUBE Street EXs to create a powerful stereo PA system with eight independent inputs.
