The SHURE SM7B is a cardioid microphone with selectable frequency response. It delivers a rich, soft sound quality in close-up studio and vocal applications while shielding against electromagnetic noise, making it ideal for speech and vocals.

The classic cardioid polar pattern is frequency balanced and axisymmetric to provide maximum isolation and minimize off-axis interference. Built-in "air suspension" vibration isolation virtually eliminates mechanical noise transmission. Improved electromagnetic hum immunity shields the microphone from electromagnetic noise generated by proximity to TVs and computer screens, reducing audio interference. A flat, wide-range frequency response reproduces music and speech with exceptional clarity and naturalness.
