MG-400 is a great value modeling multi-effects pedal!
Its sound processing comes from two powerful DSP chips, and the internal modeling uses NUX's independently developed TS/AC-HD algorithm and Core-Image algorithm! Its intuitive UI and computer-side control software allow users to easily create sounds!
The MG-400 adds a removable signal block, 12 third-party IR storage slots, a PL module with minimum and maximum adjustment, a rich set of physical knobs and system menus, and other new experiences, once again refreshing the product strength of NUX white box synergy in the early stage!
Features
- [TSAC-HD] White Box Modeling Speaker Model
The speaker modeling algorithm of the white box modeling algorithm and the front EFX module algorithm provide realistic touch and "chaotic response" of analog circuits.
The Greek myth of "Chaos gave birth to the Muse" is perfectly reflected in analog circuits. When you adjust a knob, it affects itself and also affects the results of other parameters.
The nonlinear effects of the various components interacting with each other create the sound and feel we love.
As a result, the TS/AC-HD white-box modeling algorithm achieves the touch and sound that guitarists love when playing with real tube amplifiers and analog circuit effects.

- IMPULSE RESPONSE - 512 sampling points of IR and third-party IR storage
The MG-400 supports 512-sample IR cabinet simulation files. You can also use QuickTone editing software to load third-party IR files (supporting up to 48kHz sampling files).
The machine contains 25 guitar cabinet tones, 4 classic microphones and 3 microphone placement positions, which can be used together to make you easily get the tone you need.
In addition, it also has 8 bass cabinets and three acoustic guitar cavity simulations, allowing you to easily perform bass and acoustic guitar on the MG-400.

- 10 independent and freely movable effect modules - NG, CMP, EFX, AMP, IR, EQ, MOD, DLY, RVB, PL
You can freely move the various effect modules on the MG-400 or QuickTone software, and you can place a PATCH LEVEL in front of the AMP module to adjust the input frequency for a smooth transition from clean to overdrive.
You can also put DELAY before GAIN to play with DELAY riffs! The flexibility of the entire effect chain means that your ideas for creating sounds are not limited, just like with your pedals and amplifiers.
- 2.8-inch high-definition color LCD
The 320x240 high-resolution LCD display, coupled with NUX's highly-intuitive UI design, lets you say goodbye to obscure parameters during use. A visual effects chain!
- SCENE function - create your own scene mode
You can assign CTRL1 or CTRL2 to trigger the Scene function. Each preset has three scenes (S1, S2, and S3), allowing you to switch multiple effect modules on and off simultaneously, depending on your needs. This allows you to switch your tone between clean, overdriven, or with or without surround.
When you turn off the Delay or Reverb effect by switching SCENE, the effects group will retain the previous reverb and decay naturally, so that the tonal switch is not abrupt.
- Jam function - one-man band
The MG-400's Jam function includes a loop function that automatically matches the drum machine's tempo.
You can play the selected rhythm, then record your phrase, and the MG-400 will automatically adjust the accompaniment tempo to the speed of your playing.
*Recording time: 30 seconds for stereo, 60 seconds for mono
There are two modes for starting the Loop function:
NR mode:Normal REC. Normal mode. In this mode, when you press CTRL 1, the machine will start recording.
AR Mode: Auto REC. Automatic recording mode. When you press CRTL 1, the machine will enter the ready state until you pluck the strings, and it will automatically start recording.
