After the effect pedal is powered on, rotate the VALUE knob to select an empty slot from the 99 storage slots from 01 to 99.
Then you can start recording/playing/overlaying your musical phrases by lightly pressing the pedal.
You can also perform undo/redo/clear operations by long-pressing the button.
