The MLD Bass Pre-amp DI effects processor is based on the musical experience of renowned American bassist Melvin Lee Davis and boasts a wide range of functions. It offers excellent sound shaping control, such as a 3-band EQ with midrange sweep, blend, bass cabinet simulation (IR), and a built-in noise gate with attenuation and threshold control.

• Volume knob:
  Adjust the overall output of the effects unit. Ideally, fine-tuning the output produces a clean tone, and it also controls the DI output volume.
• Blend knob:
  Adjust to mix Clean and OD signals. 
  The Clean signal is still amplified, allowing for fine control over the mixing ratio.
• Drive knob:
  Adjusting the gain level also allows you to set the saturation of the overdrive tone. A 3-band EQ with an intermediate frequency selector is also included.
  • Low frequency: +/- 12dB @40Hz
  • Intermediate frequency: ±17dB @160Hz ~ 1000Hz
  • High frequency: +/- 12dB @8000Hz
• DI output:
  The balanced XLR output with mic level output signal is affected or not, depending on the pre-post switch.
• GND LFT (Ground/Off-Ground) toggle switch:
  Disconnect the signal ground on DI and break any ground loops.
  When using, please switch it to the position with less noise;
  It can be GND or LFT, depending on the conditions of the room, stage, or studio. The switch does not affect the 6.35mm interface output.
• Impulse Response (IR) Toggle Switch:
  Both the DI OUT and 6.35mm outputs can be used to start/de-start IR enclosure simulation.
  Use the IR toggle switch to turn your selected output IR on/off.
