Fireman developed a "modern Brown Sound" based on the famous distortion effect pedal BE-OD by classic amplifier maker David Friedman, with a tone quite close to the distortion of the classic FIREMAN HBE100 amplifier.

It features two independent VOLUME and GAIN control knobs, catering to the tone requirements of rhythm guitar and solo performances.
Fireman also provides a True-Bypass and Buffer-Bypass switch, as well as an internal 9V/18V switch.
You can switch between True-Bypass and Buffer-Bypass depending on the position in the effect chain.
The internal 18V boost provides you with a wider dynamic range.

BASS: Adjusts the low volume to reduce distortion.
TREBLE: Adjusts the high volume of distortion.
PRESENCE: Adjusting the distortion of ultra-high frequency quantities
TIGHT: Low-frequency curve adjustment
VOLUME1: Adjust the volume of channel 1
GAIN1: Adjust the gain of channel 1
VOLUME2: Adjust the volume of channel 2
GAIN2: Adjust the gain of channel 2
1/2 Foot-switch: Switching channel footscrews
ON Foot-switch: Turns the effect on and off.
BF/TB toggle switch: BF indicates buffered bypass, TB indicates true bypass.
18V/9V toggle switch: The machine operates at 9V and can be upgraded to 18V.

INPUT: Input signal to Fireman
OUTPUT: Output signal to an amplifier or the next effect.
EXT.SWConnects to the TRS dual foot switch to replace the function of the two foot switches on the pedal.
BF/TB toggle switch: BF indicates buffered bypass, TB indicates true bypass.
18V/9V toggle switch:
The pedal uses a 9V power supply.
You can select the 18V position to double the internal operating voltage for a wider dynamic range.
DC jack: Connects to a 9V negative power supply via a 100mA adapter.
